We want everyone to be able to use vscrl.co. This page is an honest account of where we are: what we've built in, what we know is still missing, and how to tell us when something doesn't work.

What we're aiming for

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our target. We are not claiming full conformance today. The site is an animated, scroll-driven experience, and some of it is genuinely harder to make accessible than a standard page. We'd rather tell you exactly where we stand than post a badge we haven't earned.

What's in place

• Keyboard navigation. The whole site works without a mouse. Tab moves through links and controls, Space and the arrow keys move between sections, Shift+Space and ↑ go back, and Enter activates whatever is focused.
• A skip link. The first Tab press on the page offers a jump straight to the main content, past the navigation.
• Visible focus. Every interactive element shows a high-contrast cyan focus ring when you're navigating by keyboard.
• Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, we turn off the animations, the intro sequence, and the scroll effects. This site leans hard on motion, so that setting changes a lot here.
• Text alternatives. Images that carry meaning have descriptions. Purely decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers so they don't add noise.
• Muted by default. Nothing plays sound unless you turn it on.

Known gaps we're working on

• The portfolio and campaign videos don't have captions or transcripts yet. If you want to know what's in one of them, email us and we'll describe it or send you a transcript.
• The section-by-section scroll layout can behave unpredictably with some screen reader and browser combinations.
• A few decorative type treatments sit below our target contrast ratio. They're never the only place information appears, but they are hard to read.
• We haven't completed a formal third-party audit.

Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what browser or assistive technology you're using if you know it. We aim to reply within five business days, and we'll give you the information another way while we fix the underlying problem.
